The GRI Aerospace Bloc hosted the yearly face-to-face meeting of the Bloc’s Steering Committee at Penn State University’s Applied Research Laboratory on June 8, 2016. The meeting was well attended. The meeting was concluded with a tour of the Gear Research Institute and Drivetrain Technology Center test facilities.

The Department of Defense has joined the Aerospace Bloc research consortium. We look forward to participation from the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and the
